World of Adventures
Chessington
World of Adventures is a family theme park and also
has a zoo. It started of as Chessington Zoo. In 1987
the theme park was added to Chessington Zoo to create
Chessington World of Adventures. It provides an excellent
fun day out for young children, teenagers and the adults
accompanying them can also enjoy some of the rides and
the zoo.
Chessington
World of Adventures is divided into ten zones:
Beanoland, Chessington Zoo, Forbidden Kingdom, Land
of The Dragons, Market Square, Mexicana, Mystic East,
Pirates Cove, Toytown and Transylvania.
There
are four levels of adventures to choose from:
1.
Mini Adventurers (for tiny tots)
Dragon's
Playhouse, Dragon's Tale Theatre, Sea Dragons, Sir Walter
Squirtalot, Events Stage, Fun Fort Amusement Centre,
Carousel and Tiny Truckers
2.
Junior Adventurers (for younger adventurers)
Bash
Street Bus, Dennis's Madhouse, Canopy Capers, Griffin's
Galleon, Hocus Pocus Hall, Berry Bouncers, Flying Jumbos
and Toadie's Crazy Cars.
3.
Family Adventurers (for family groups)
Billy's
Whizzer, Roger the Dodger's Dodgems, Animal Antics,
Capybara, Children's Zoo, Creature Features, Creepy
Caves, Education Centre, Monkey & Bird Garden, Penguin
Presentation, Sealion Shows, Squirrel Monkey Walk Through,
Trail of the Kings, Tomb Blaster, Dragon's Fury, Safari
Skyway, Runaway Train, Dragon Falls, Peeking Heights,
Seastorm, Bubbleworks and Vampire.
4.
Experienced Adventurers (for the older adventurer)
Rameses
Revenge, Rattlesnake, Extreme Games Zone and Black Buccaneer.

The
Wild Factor: 21st July - 2nd September
Hidden
in the heart of the Park will be a little piece of Madagascar,
where visitors will get the chance to experience The
Wild Factor!
Come
and meet Ringo the Lemur and his friends Fidget the
Meerkat, Mojo the Macaw, Flower the Skunk and Priscilla
the Kookaburra all competing to be this years
Zoo Idol! Presented in association with The Natural
Confectionary Company, the stars of the show will dazzle
the crowd with their amazing natural behaviours!

Zoo
You
get to see gorillas and big cats, monkeys and birds.
There are also live shows to entertain the whole family.
Animal
Antics with our resident Macaws Brindsley and Mojo.
Meet the keepers and learn all about these fascinating
birds at 2pm or 4pm, just outside Hocus Pocus Hall.
Watch
the penguin presentation at 11.30AM and 2.30pm in Animal
Land.
Watch
the amazing Californian Sealions and their keepers in
this fun show at Sealion Bay. See the Sealions each
day at midday and 3pm, at Sealion Bay.
Food
And Shops
There
are a large number of shops , cafes and food outlets.
You can get food from: Macdonalds, KFC, Pizza Hut, Cafe
Nero. If you are need something different, try: hot
dogs, Chinese food, fresh hot donuts, plus much more..
You
can also by gifts for friends and family at the many
gift shops at Chessington World of Adventures.

Chessington
World of Adventures is open from 10am - 5pm in the peak
season (23rd July - 2nd September)

How
To Get To Chessington World of Adventures
By
Car
Chessington is situated 12 miles from London on the
A243, just 2 miles from the A3 and M25 (junction 9 or
10). Car parking is free.
From
the South, take M25 junction 9
From
the North, take M25 junction 10
From
London, take the A3 to Hook - Chessington is sign posted
on the A243

Rail
Regular
South West Train services run from Waterloo, Clapham
Junction and Wimbledon. Take the train to Chessington
South Station. The park is approximately 10 minutes
walk from the station.

Bus
Chessington
is served by a regular bus service. Take the 465 bus
from Kingston to Chessington, or the 467 bus from Epsom
to Chessington.
