If you had a budget of £50 – £150, which business would you start up?

I would start up a domain registration and web hosting service. I would not do it as a free affiliate, I would create a brand for myself as a reseller.

Every business that is looking to market using the internet can benefit from a domain name and web hosting. If they are planning to sell products and services online, they will need a SSL certificate.

You can provide these services at an affordable cost, from the top reseller worldwide and earn yourself a residual income.

Top resellers are earning £30,000 monthly, the number 1 reseller is earning over £70,000 monthly using the same reseller program that I will show you.

You can get started for approx £40/year (basic) or £110/year (professional).

Take a look at: http://bit.ly/95NFV9

Entrepreneurs from across the country once again have a chance to make their business dreams come true by appearing on Dragons’ Den. If you’re genuinely seeking investment for your business idea or invention, we’d like to hear from you.

Last series saw some of the most diverse range of inventions and business ideas receive offers of investment from the multi-millionaire investors. All the Dragons were won over by entrepreneur Sharon Wright and the simplicity of her cable wiring device; Rupert Sweet-Escott went into business with James Caan who was impressed with his unique range of aviation designs and prototypes; and Carol Savage chose to accept Deborah Meaden’s offer of a cash injection into her tasty new food networking website. In fact, when the Den finally closed for business an incredible 15 entrepreneurs had managed to convince the fearsome financiers, they were worthy of their cash.

2009 saw Londoner Jason Roberts ask for a £150,000 investment in his innovative range of mobile phone and laptop protection products. After some tense negotiations, Peter Jones and Theo Paphitis joined forces to secure a stake in the company. Post investment, Jason says that he gets up to 5000 visits to his website every day, and the current range is available in eight nationwide chains. Agreements are in place with the major phone and computer manufacturers, and he’s now planning to launch a range of own-branded cases, across the globe.

Previous success stories in the Den include Brixton based Levi Roots who secured an investment of £50,000 for his secret recipe, Reggae Reggae Sauce. Just 4 weeks after his appearance on the programme his Dragon investors helped him launch his sauce in a major supermarket all over the country. Now Levi has increased his product range to 8 sauces, produced a Caribbean cook book, and won Best New Product at the World Food Awards 2009, even going on to present his own successful BBC Television series – ‘Caribbean Food Made Easy’. Having also successfully licensed his sauce to one of the world’s largest frozen food manufacturers and to an international fast food chain, Levi says that thanks to the Dragons he has a business empire that is now valued in the millions.

Of course, not everyone secures investment in the Den, but that doesn’t stop the most tenacious of entrepreneurs from achieving success. After a gruelling time in front of the Dragons in 2008, inventor Natalie Ellis failed to convince them to back her Road Refresher. But one year on, her product became the fastest selling dog bowl on Amazon USA. Natalie says her company now has a million pound turnover and that her range is currently stocked in 32 countries. Likewise Shaun Pulfrey wanted the Dragons to invest £80,000 in his rework of the hairbrush – the Tangle Teezer. Unsuccessful in his bid he claims he is now stocked nationwide in high street stores and top hair salons, with sales approaching 400,000 units.

The rules are simple: entrepreneurs ask for a cash investment in return for equity in their business. However, they must get at least the amount they ask for or they will walk away with nothing. The Dragons are prepared to listen to a pitch for any kind of business but they must be convinced that it will make money.

As demonstrated by the investments in the last seven series, ideas, businesses and products that meet some or all of the following criteria stand a good chance of securing the Dragons’ interest:

• A Unique Selling Point: a product that serves a need like nothing else.
• Scalability: something that can be up scaled to make real money.
• Route to Market: the clear way the product can be sold and marketed.
• Mutually Beneficial Arrangement: just what will the Dragons get out of it?
• Exit Strategy: a plan of how the entrepreneur/Dragon will exit and make money.

The BBC is currently searching for Britain’s best entrepreneurs and will be auditioning throughout the coming months. We want to hear from anyone who thinks they’ve got what it takes to enter the Dragons’ Den.

Direct Selling and Network Marketing is an ideal way to start a business of your own. It is a great opportunity to build an income and is normally associated with the sale of a consumer product, person to person. The sales people are variously called Independent Representatives, Representatives, Sales Executives, Distributors, Consultants and the like. In the UK this method of selling of goods provides the greatest source of income for part time work.

In the last 10 years, a growing proportion of the UK population have become attracted by the idea of having their own small business. Not only as an alternative to conventional employment, coping with early retirement or as a way of supplementing a family income, but also for the sheer satisfaction of being an entrepreneur and being rewarded solely on the basis of achievement.

With Network Marketing you not only strengthen your own position but also for others by offering the opportunity to others. With Network Marketing you are part of a global movement that rewards initiative and growth.

It is reported that 69,000 Distributors and Independent Representatives join the industry every week in the US. Every walk of life and every nationality are seizing the opportunity of direct sales and Network Marketing. Of these over 300,000 in the USA are over the age of 65. More than 500,000 have some sort of disability. In America also 86% of those in Direct Sales are female trying to strengthen the family without the fear of being held back.

Not everyone will succeed but then not everyone succeeds in any business. Success is dependent upon dedication, effort and hard work. One needs to be persistent and ambitious and sometimes cope with the rudeness of people who believe that the network marketing business model is illegal. Anyone who says that does not have a proper understanding of the business model. There will be good days and there will be bad days. Think of it this way – if you were employed by someone in a 9 to 5 job and had a bad day would you still turn up tomorrow? Of course you would!

It is interesting that the reputable companies apply for and are admitted to the various Direct Selling Associations which are the ‘Policemen’ of the Direct Selling and Network Marketing companies. Being a member carries great creditability and kudos and members are only admitted if they show that they follow the strict rules of the Associations.

Some of the richest men in the world put their reputations on the line in endorsing such companies such is their faith and belief in network marketing and the company that they are endorsing.

Not only does Network Marketing work but it is positively being promoted in the United States by politicians, including a former President of the United States, as a legitimate way of earning money and helping people and the country get out of recession.

In the USA the latest figures for 2008 show that 93.8% of the direct selling companies are multi level (network marketing) companies making 96.3% of the sales. Of these 85.3% are one person businesses and 13.3% two person businesses. 91.1% of direct selling and network marketing companies are worked part time of less than 30 hours per week with 86.4% being female and 13.6% male. Overall 71.8% of the businesses were home based.

Direct sales in the USA for 2008 accounted for $29.60 Billion with 15 million individuals involved as Representatives.

There are now 67 million people world wide involved with direct sales doing business in 125 countries. Amazingly there are reportedly also 100,000 direct sales people in Russia and 600,000 in China.

Worldwide direct sales are reported as $110 Billion with $104 billion being attributable to the Network Marketing business model.

Annual sales in the UK exceed £2 billion. Using the Network Marketing business model means that people can be secure in their business building residual income and getting paid month after month.

Public attitude surveys show that direct selling remains a vibrant marketing method with considerable loyalty amongst its Representatives and Customers. One of the attractions is the very low start up costs compared to a conventional business involving premises, buying vast amounts of stock, staffing etc. One of the other benefits is the ability to earn unlimited income. It is an opportunity for men, women and couples of all walks of life and social standing or ethnic groups to improve their lives. It is a business that is entirely flexible in hours and can be fitted in with family or other work or social commitments.

He had an active career and following early retirement decided to take up direct selling utilizing the Network Marketing Business Model. He now runs his own successful business in Sales and Marketing.
